august: to live for the hope of it all

edition #45: august 2026

hi Reader!!

it still feels a lot like summer. i'm not ready for school to start, i don't have the brain power to study, learn new things, go to classes, like omg.

but i'm excited to be in autumn again with a pumpkin chai, 2023 taylor swift playing, and a sweater on. life has definitely changed since last august, and i'm excited to see what the rest of the year has in place for me.

i'm scared tbh, because it's my senior year eek! so i have to find a job, and do all that which makes me so so nervous.

i cut my own bangs :)

while moving in, i put on some youtube in the back and it inspired me to create content. so here are some videos i liked:

top 3 experiences i'm looking forward to

  • meeting my new suitemates!
  • having a fun & busy schedule after a boring repeated routine summer
    • like it was just work - > gym -> eat/cook -> sleep
    • now its something new all the time! and i make my own schedule :)
  • starting my podcast up again and releasing a new season

past faves

  • finally getting everything unpacked and settled into my room
  • meeting with friends i haven't seen in a while and catching up
  • bought new decor! posters, curtain for my closet, lillies, etc

words to live by

no more repeated cycles, it's time to grow.

sincerely with love,

sejal

edition #46: September 2026 hi Reader!! is it summer? is it fall? i'm melting but there was a breeze this morning so... it's kind of autumn but i'm still wearing capris dressed for the summer so we will just see when it gets colder. i had a pool day last week and it was the first time i went by myself but i made friends, read my book, and had a good tan sesh! so doing things by yourself is scary but it is not impossible. i think something i've been trying to do is see everything as an...

edition #44: june 2026 hi Reader!! it's one of my favorite times of the year! summer and pride month :)) i've been enjoying the late sunsets, warm nights, and settling into a good routine. being active is one of the things I find easier in the summer, because you want to enjoy the sun and you have more time in the evenings to walk and enjoy the sun's warmth. i take this opportunity to take breaks and walk during the day, as well as enjoying a stroll after dinner. my internship has been going...

edition #43: may 2026 hello hello Reader!! happy may!! the month of may is always so many fricking things for me. from final exams to my birthday to moving out, and soon even graduation 😜. like that is just CRAZY i've had a great last couple of weeks in my university apartment, and I'll be moving back home soon EEEK! i can't believe i'll be entering my senior year of college soon, like genuinely it's SO insane to me but something i want to work on is becoming cooler. and like being cool is...
