february: loving the small things, achieving our goals, and checking in with ourselves.

hi Reader

new month, new newsletter! as you can see from the headline I've been trying to love the small things whether that be my morning routine, or going out with friends. Whether it be new nails or just the weather. I've always talked about being grateful for things and reflecting on the opportunities that you've had or have.

last month was the first of 2024, and as many of you might have created some new goals for yourself. (which is great!!) but in February I think it's time to reflect on what you've done. did you stick to your goals or forget them a week after writing them down? be honest

and tbh that's completely fine if you did, sometimes we realize that we have other goals we should prioritize compared to ones in the past. for example if your goal was to get a promotion, but you realized you can't put the extra hours in because you realized you wanted to spend more time with your family. life happens and things change, including our goals.

but whatever your goals might be, reflect in your journal or just to yourself about where you are. are you eating healthier? walking more? working on your business? february is a good time to start fresh on your goals and make sure you're on track.

things I'm looking forward to + grateful for

in February i'm looking forward to:

  • sticking to my healthy habits. (drinking hot water with lemon, packing my own lunch, cycle syncing, etc)
  • coding more, I've been consistent with watching coding videos and learning Swift
  • hanging with friends, from birthdays to just going out to events.

In February I'm grateful for:

  • having new clothes and other items
  • taking a break from guitar classes
  • the ability to make my own money.

content from me + updates

  • I only managed to release one new episode since the last newsletter:
    • ep 17; 7 things to do to improve your life.

weekly tips

→ Everything happens that is meant to happen. If it's not for you, be ready to say goodbye.

→ one day you'll wish you could relive what you're reliving, just enjoy it.

→ don't keep on waiting for something new in your life, be active in that change.

hi Reader ! february has treated me very well and i hope to bring the same good luck into march. one of my favorite things about march is the color scheme (my fave color is green 😛), the concept of good luck because who doesn't like good luck, and pi day (i LOVE pi day). it's also wonderful that it's women's history month and we can all learn about all the amazing women who have changed history in all fields. One of my favorites is Hedy Lamarr who developed the concept of spread spectrum...
